With technology constantly changing, our seniors are not always able to keep up with the latest concepts, terms, features and how they can fit into their daily lives. This was designed to be taught at a much slower pace. Discussions will cover such topics as Social Media, Computers and Privacy, The Hidden Dangers on the Internet and How Not to Become Victim, Basic Virus Protection Software and How they work, Cloud Computing and Why It's So Popular, Office Productivity Software, Basic Computer Operations.

This Basic Computer 101 course is a 2 hour interactive course design for beginners who are new to technology or have not had any formal computer training. In this course will discuss such topics such as Parts of the Computer, Computer Terminology, WiFi, Storage Devices, Right and Left Mouse clicking, Virus Protection, Email Do's and Don'ts, Pros and Cons of Social Networking, To Cloud or Not to Cloud, Web Browsers, Sleeping - Hibernation and Shutting Down, File Management, File Searching, Selecting Text, Short cut Menus and other general topics.
