Summary: Samuel I. Smith founded C2 Computer Information Systems, Inc., in 2004. Mr. Smith's vision was to form an IT company with employees and consultants at the highest level of expertise that were customer focused and solutions oriented.
Mr. Smith is a highly creative and goal oriented professional with 20+ years experience in the information technology field. He has managed technology and PMO programs ranging from 4 million – 63.9 million dollars total contract value, including a training program with a user community of 2500+ users. For 5.5 years Mr. Smith served as the training manager overseeing an IT training program that served all eleven units of the Executive Office of the President of the United States, including the White House. Mr. Smith currently lends his expertise as a consultant in portfolio management, program management and IT training to federal agencies, prime contractors and commercial corporations. Mr. Smith also directs and manages all the projects in the company's commercial space.
Mr. Smith is the previous owner of a successful educational tutorial service and computer training company. His background includes positions as educator, engineer, trainer, analyst and manager. He is recognized as an accomplished instructor, analyst and manager. Mr. Smith possesses the ability to convey technical and complex concepts to learners at all levels. His talents are complemented by software expertise, customer service and technical knowledge, with a first-rate mix of hands-on business and management experience. Mr. Smith currently holds Secret clearances with the Department of Defense and Department of Justice.
Education: Mr. Smith has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, a Master’s degree in Management of Information Systems and a Systems Analyst graduate certificate. Mr. Smith has successfully completed several project management programs at the graduate level and a PMP boot camp.
