IT Staff Augmentation

ITSA logoC2 is pleased to announce that it has just signed a subcontract agreement with the prime contractor OST and will participate in the IT Staff Augmentation (ITSA) contract, which will provide augmented staff to the District of Columbia’s Office of the Chief Technology Officer. The new ITSA contract will deliver major cost savings and other benefits for the District and its IT staffing vendors. These benefits include:

  • An estimated $10 million in annual savings on IT staff costs alone;
  • Increasing the speed of IT staff procurement from the FY 2007 average of 37 business days to a projected average of 10 business days;
  • Freeing 60 percent of OCP’s technology procurement staff time and 16,000 hours annually in OCTO program manager time for more mission-critical initiatives;
  • Improving the transparency of the IT staff procurement process; and
  • Substantially increasing CBE participation in IT staffing contracts from 71 percent in FY 2007 to the 95 percent required under the contract.

NAVSea Enhanced contract

TWD LogoC2 has signed on as a subcontractor and join the TWD team as it re-compete its incumbent positions as prime contractor of the NAVSea Enhanced contract for the Navy and Marine Corps. Under the Seaport Enhanced contract, TWD provides professional engineering, technical and programmatic support services for the Naval Sea Systems Command's Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUSC), headquarters, and its field activities. Services available under this contract span the entire spectrum of product areas supported by the Warfare Centers and may cover a range of technical skills including:

  • Research, technology development, concept exploration, design and demonstration required to introduce transformational technologies into new or existing surface, undersea and strategic war fighting capabilities
  • Prototyping and fabrication
  • Test and evaluation
  • Certification, deployment, life cycle sustainment, operation and maintenance
  • Improvement, modernization, and overhaul
  • Demilitarization and disposal
